Made in Saudi Arabia

The Made in Saudi Gate platform is a significant initiative launched in April 2020, designed to boost Saudi Arabia's economic growth by promoting Saudi-made products and services both regionally and globally.

The platform is a crucial part of the broader GCC Made in the GCC initiative, developed in collaboration with The Federation of GCC Chambers of Commerce and Industry. It serves as a centralized platform for Saudi businesses to expand their reach, particularly benefiting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that may lack the resources for international connections.

The Made in Saudi Gate facilitates connections between buyers and sellers, allowing distributors, representative offices, and sales outlets to easily identify national factories that meet stringent quality standards.

It also provides comprehensive business intelligence, including reports on supply orders and public and private tenders, which is valuable for businesses looking to participate in projects and expand operations. Furthermore, it features a curated list of approved suppliers in Saudi Arabia and the broader GCC region, fostering stronger economic ties within the GCC.

The platform supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 by promoting non-oil exports and driving economic diversification. The platform is divided into various sections, including food, petrochemical, medical, metal, electrical, chemical, wood, textile, oil, plastic, operational, and recycling industries, as well as supportive industries like banking, insurance, construction, shipping, and customs clearance. The platform aims to make national products the consumer’s first choice by ensuring high quality, supporting the Industry Strategy 2030.

The platform is designed to be the first digital reference for Saudi factories and companies in the Gulf. The Made in Saudi Gate platform supports the growth of exports and re-exports to both regional and global markets.

The Saudi Arabian Amiantit Company (SAAC), founded in 1968, is an example of a company that could be listed on the platform, as it manufactures pipe systems and water management solutions. The platform also aligns with the Saudi Giga Projects, which are part of the 2030 Vision, aiming to transform the kingdom into a tourism and entertainment hub. The Ministry of Commerce also provides online services for foreign companies looking to establish regional headquarters in the country.

The Made in Saudi Gate is a dedicated platform showcasing Saudi factories and manufacturers from various industrial sectors and their related products, supporting the growth of exports and re-exports to both regional and global markets.
