The EOU scheme was introduced to increase foreign exchange earnings by exports. The objectives of the EOU scheme include accelerating export trade from India, increasing foreign exchange earnings, stimulating direct foreign investment, and generating employment opportunities. To be eligible for EOU status, units must undertake to export their entire production of goods or services, with limited sales allowed in the Domestic Tariff Area (DTA) as per the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP).
We are committed to adhering to the guidelines set forth by the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) and the Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT). We are also well-versed in the procedures for setting up and operating as an EOU, including application submission, application review, and receipt of EOU status. We understand the benefits of the EOU scheme, such as duty-free procurement of raw materials and capital goods, eligibility for GST reimbursement, and fast-track clearance facilities.
